DIE HERREN – NOT AT ALL AS A COVER BAND
Die Herren is known to most people in Denmark because of their impressive versions of U2 songs.
Die Herren has been playing since 1991 and has a cult status in Denmark being one of the absolute best cover bands in the country. Die Herren always gives the audience what they come for. Whether it is a small venue or a big open air concert.
The band has understood to pass on the nerve and spirit of the U2 song and remarks like: - “I don´t like U2, but I love Die Herren” or “It is the best U2 concert I have ever been to” - show what Die Herren can do with the music and an audience.
It is not a coincidence that the band has a big following crowd all over Denmark and it is not a coincidence that the audience keeps on coming back again and again and has done it for almost two decades.
It is a result of the audience getting a thrill every time they experience the band.
Die Herren has nerve and intensity and has created its own style and expression without losing the core of U2´s music.
